Carrier ac error code EC?

I get EC code the same as Chad and Tracey. I have not been able to find any answers as to what it means, even emailed the company service department on the Australian website but no reply. I am a tenant so I need to find out the answer.

“EC” usually means a communication or payment system error, especially on shared or coin-operated machines. It’s not something you can fix yourself—your landlord or building management will need to call for service.
