Toshina air conditioner off then on?

We have a Toshiba split system air conditioner in a rental property. The tenant states the air conditioner has a green light which flashes, and a red light which also flashes.
They switch the power supply “off” then “on” and the system works for a while then goes into a fault mode again.
What is our best way of rectifying this fault?
